LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian's wedding anniversary this year was unlike any other.
The couple celebrated 15 years of marriage on Wednesday, April 22. The next day, Thursday, April 23, Rimes, 43, revealed on Instagram that her anniversary celebration in Cabo with Cibrian, 52, was bittersweet, as they're facing family struggles.
"We got to step away for 3 days amidst work and some very tense, heart wrenching things happening at home with family," the 9-1-1: Nashville star wrote alongside three photos and two videos from their beach escape.

She continued, "It’s been a different anniversary, one filled with tears and worry, but in between, there were moments of laughter and deep gratitude for this love of ours. day by day, we walk hand in hand through the rollercoaster of life… and god, i’m so grateful that it’s with each other."
Rimes thanked her husband for always being by her side, through good times and bad.
"We’ve been through so much in our 15 years as husband and wife. we know how to ride the waves 🌊, hold each other in times of need, mend what needs mending. i’m so proud of what we have created together. 15 years is just the beginning. 🤍."
On a lighter note, she expressed her gratitude to Las Ventanas Al Paraíso and its romance director, Paola, for such a "special" stay. The couple appeared to enjoy time on the beach, as well as a romantic dinner complete with a custom anniversary painting and a celebratory sparkler. Their candlelit resort room featured a rose petal pathway leading to the bed, which was covered in rose petals in the shape of a heart, and a bubble bath.
Many commenters shared their sympathy, writing that they were sending their "love, support, hugs and positive vibes."

The previous day, the singer-actress posted a sweet anniversary tribute alongside several photos of the couple throughout their relationship. In her post, she shared playful "new vows."
"15 years of loving you. 15 years of making memories. your love is such a gift," Rimes wrote. "And, with all that’s taken place this year, i have new vows… in perimenopause and in health with teeth and without… 😂 here’s to you catching up and me returning the favor 🦷 happy 15th anniversary @eddiecibrian."

In his own post, Cibrian shared a video compilation of photos and short clips with Rimes. The actor wrote in the caption, "Still burning after 15 years 🔥." Foy Vance's "She Burns" played in the background.
Rimes and Cibrian tied the knot on April 22, 2011. The "How Do I Live" singer is the stepmother to Cibrian’s two sons, Mason and Jake, whom he shares with ex Brandi Glanville.

Ahead of the couple's 15th wedding anniversary, Rimes opened up to E! News in February about the evolution of their relationship.
“We've evolved so much. We've been through so much together,” Rimes said at the time. “Now our boys, my stepsons are 22 and 18. They're grown boys. And to help raise his sons — we have a very calm life, which is wonderful. And it didn't start out that way at all, but now, we've really grown into — we just love each other. We love being around each other. We laugh a lot. He's just a good guy, he really is."
She continued, "So, 15 years is wild to think about that it's been that long. But so far, so good."
