When Calls the Heart's Chris McNally and his partner Julie Gonzalo are expecting their second baby together, and McNally shocked fans with his surprise announcement at the Hallmark Christmas Experience

“We didn’t know at the time, but it’s not one, not two, but there’s three coming,” he said as he pulled sonogram photos out of his pocket

Two other real-life couples from the show — Erin Krakow and Ben Rosenbaum, and Kevin McGarry and Kayla Wallace — are both expecting babies of their own

Chris McNally and Julie Gonzalo are expecting another addition to their family.

While onstage for the Western drama's panel at the Hallmark Christmas Experience earlier this month, the When Calls the Heart star, 37, shocked fans with some big news.

“There was something going on with our caterers,” McNally began while starting to fish something out of his pocket, as seen in a video obtained by Entertainment Tonight. “I don’t know if you guys knew this, but they were giving us something and we didn’t know at the time, but it’s not one, not two, but there’s three coming.”

He then pulled out a series of sonogram photos, revealing that he and Gonzalo, 44, are expecting their second baby together. In addition to their own bundle of joy, two other real-life couples from the show — Erin Krakow and Ben Rosenbaum, and Kevin McGarry and Kayla Wallace — are both expecting babies of their own.

“When we all look exhausted, you know why,” McNally quipped onstage as the audience cheered with delight.

Gonzalo and McNally welcomed their first baby together in June 2022, sharing the news alongside a sweet photo of their infant’s hand wrapped around their fingers.

"Our hearts are full…Welcome baby M ♥️," the Cut, Color, Murder star captioned the post.

Since becoming a family of three, Gonzalo has shared an occasional glimpse into her life as a mother. However, the pair has chosen to keep their baby’s face off of social media and to largely keep their family life out of the spotlight.

In March 2023, Gonzalo shared a pic of their baby sitting in a yellow swing while sporting an adorable yellow beanie on a snowy day. Three months later, she shared another snap of McNally holding their baby above the water during a trip to the beach.

On Mother's Day in 2024, the Hallmark star celebrated the joys of motherhood, which she deemed her “most favorite part of life.”

“Happy Mother’s Day,” she wrote on Instagram alongside a pic of her and her baby lying in a hammock. “And thank you @chrismcnally for being the most incredible father and partner a girl could ever wish for. ♥️.”
